With David Hemmings in Blow Up 1966
Model Veruschka is the subject of a limited edition, cloth bound monograph illuminating her career. As a child, her father was a key member of the German Resistance in East Prussia & was executed for taking part in the attempted assassination of Adolph Hitler.  Her & her family then spent the remainder of the war in concentration camps.
At 20 she entered the world of modeling.  But it was brief appearance in the 1966 film Blowup by Michelangelo Antonioni which began with the words "Here I am" that brought her recognition.
That same year she began doing her now infamous nude shoots wearing only body paint & camouflaging herself into different environments.  She worked with everyone from Salvador Dali to Peter Beard, Richard Avedon and has 11 Vogue covers under her belt!
